I live and work in Moh’kinstsis, the Blackfoot name for Calgary. Moh’kinstsis is within the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations) as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations); and Métis Nation of Alberta, Districts 5 and 6. I do my best to honour the spirit of this land, it’s history, and all the beings on it.  I am committed to continuously decolonizing and showing up with humility.  I am here to learn, to listen, to unlearn, and to share.
